Every years, the National Committee for the Indonesia's 80th Independence Day, coordinated by the State Secretariat, requires a single identity to serve as the national identity for all 80th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence activities. Although not chosen as an official logo, we are truly honoured to be selected as one (amongst 5) of designer/studio in Indonesia to propose an identity concept for celebrating Indonesia's independence day.

Every years, the National Committee for the Indonesia's 80th Independence Day, coordinated by the State Secretariat, requires a single identity to serve as the national identity for all 80th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence activities. Although not chosen as an official logo, we are truly honoured to be selected as one (amongst 5) of designer/studio in Indonesia to propose an identity concept for celebrating Indonesia's independence day.
"Bersatu Berdaulat, Rakyat Sejahtera, Indonesia Maju" are the concept words to represent the identity of Indonesia's anniversary this year. Based on that, we created a visualization of vibrant, collective, yet dynamic, composed of diverse elements that form a solid force, a unity, and we call it "Semarak Persatuan".
As a milestone in the 80th anniversary of Indonesia's independence, this visual also represents and embodies the hope of leading the Indonesian nation to greater unity.
Dynamic Continuity
The curve of the number 8, with its fluid and non-static form, reflects Indonesia’s dynamic movement and adaptability to change. Starting from the initial point of the start line, it becomes a representation of leadership that is continuous and progressive. A new point, a new chapter, towards an advanced Indonesia.
Radiance of Unity
A radiant beam composed of 38 rays of light. A representation of the 38 provinces of Indonesia. Solid, grande, and radiant in unity, from Sabang to Merauke.
Shield of Pancasila
A symbol built upon the sovereignty of the people, the emblem of Indonesia’s unity, the shield of Pancasila.
The graphic element is taken from the main symbol of the 80th Indonesian Independence Day logo. It is visually reconstructed to resemble a beam of light. A symbol of splendor, grandeur, and perfection.
Flying at the speed of light. Dynamic, progressive, and growing.
Like a hope, the three beams of light represent Indonesia's regions (composed of 38 provinces) from West, Central, and East. They synergize, connect, and move forward together toward positive growth.
